The University of Nottingham has its campuses in UK and China along with Malaysia. Its campus In Malaysia happens to be its one of most vibrant international campuses with students from many countries coming there to pursue higher studies.
The Malaysian campus of the University of Nottingham is one of the first to open outside of UK. Hence, it has been awarded with Queen's Awards for Enterprise 2001 and the Queen's Award for Industry in International Trade in 2006. This vibrant Campus was established in 2000 and operated in one building before getting support from organisation and Malaysian that has made possible to the university spread its wings across Malaysia. It has nearly 4000 students enrolled in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The Malaysian campus of University of Nottingham offers courses under the faculties such as Arts and Social Sciences, Engineering, Science along with foundation courses. It also incorporates various research institutes and centres.
The University of Nottingham has two campuses in Malaysia. The main campus is located at Semenyih while other is Kuala Lumpur Teaching Centre (KLTC).
The University of Nottingham Malaysia campus is known to offer a range of scholarships to domestic and international students. It also helps in arranging funds. In case of Scholarships, they are mostly offered by International institutions, Malaysian institutions and governments etc.
The accommodation facilities are also made available by the University to all the students. The main campus at Semenyih has an on –campus facility while the KLTC offers accommodation nearby. The accommodations are secured and equipped with all the facilities.
Transport and Location
Both the campuses are well connected through public transport, easily approachable by car and taxi. A special Nottingham Shuttle service for students and staff is also made available. The accommodation for students is either on campus or near the campus hence walking to their learning centre is also possible.
